Investigate WebTorrent (BitTorrent over WebRTC) for distributing apps.

Maybe a small daemon could share the applications present on the system unless they have a "do not share" bit set.

Or https://github.com/inizan-yannick/libtorrent-c

Very nice idea. AppImageMonitor could be in charge of that, but a nice UI should be implemented in order to let the user configure how much bandwidth is allowed.

I really like this idea. Perhaps this could be somehow integrated into GNOME Software?

Never used GNOME Software myself (I'm installing it right now), but how could we integrate application seeding? I think it doesn't match the case for GNOME Software, right?

We could of course integrate AppImage downloading and updating, which would be rad, but I think that's covered by #58

Coincidentally I contacted the author of gnome-software yesterday and asked whether there was documentation on how to write plugins for it. See #58
