I'm experiencing the same issue. After several normal communications eventually the status starts coming back with this failure.

The issue has been discussed on the Garmin CIQ forum here: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-bug-reports/158068-

Actually when I look back, it seems I never got a message if this has been resolved or not, and by my own tests, this problem still shows up, using the latest versions of CIQ SDK, Android CIQ SDK and GCM.

I think we should contact Coleman / Brandon and let them know that this is still happening.
