I'd like to request the ability to generate "signed https URLs" for a set of objects. I'm not sure what the nomenclature is in Azure but these are quite useful for transferring files in parallel using tools like Aria2.
The other big advantage, at least on AWS and maybe Azure, is that using these URLs from the vendor's cloud node (EC2 for AWS) does not incur a data egress fee. Thus one use case for analyzing Avatar data is to generate URLs for sets of files then transfer the data into a Terra workspace at low/ no cost.
Having this functionality in the rwb, the python helper scripts, and the GUI would be great.
