Despite having

 <createApiComponent>false</createApiComponent>

the generated code is still coming out as

@jakarta.annotation.Generated(value = "com.backbase.oss.codegen.java.BoatJavaCodeGen", date = "2023-08-31T11:39:13.215034+02:00[Europe/Amsterdam]")
@Component("com.backbase.my.package.UsersClientApi")
public class UsersClientApi {
