Please add Git tags to allow for symbolic references to commits.

Do you mean when making a release?

Yes, this is the usual way to go. Also for past releases since they are missing ATM.

pretty sure I can reconstruct this from version bumps in Modulefile.

What's the current state on this? I've integrated this module as subtree into one of our projects and would like to let people know, what version we are actually using.

Sorry to leave you hanging so long, but it seems that everyone's modules and software were more important than my own ones :(

I've now pushed the 0.2.1 and the 0.2.2 tag (current master). That should also help fix #1
I've also published the 0.2.2 tag as version 0.2.2 on the forge
