Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Terminal emulators should be close to one another. At the current state of release, this is not the case.

Currently:

  • Wezterm is in the "Development" section
  • Microsoft Terminal is in "Microsoft Tools"
  • PuTTY is in "Pro Tools"
  • Alacritty and Tabby are in "Utilities"

There's also a host of terminal emulator related utilities that are spread through the sections:

  • OhMyPosh in "Development"
  • PowerShell in "Microsoft Tools"
  • NuShell in "Utilities"

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like those tools to be grouped in a single section of terminal emulator related tools. Everything from the terminal itself to software like ripgrep and zoxide should be grouped in one section, as they feed off each other.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Searching is cumbersome as other options are hidden instead of the match being highlighted. Also, mistyping prevents you from finding the software, no matter how search is implemented.
  • Adding these softwares to multiple sections would make discoverability worse.
