It seems that for me neither files nor directories are recognised for a new .gitignore file.

Hey @cyril-schroeder-ox,

can you give some more context? Ideally an example.

Thx

Doesn't work in .gitignore files for me either in 2023.

@pavlo-tk you mean it doesn‘t autocomplete in a .gitignore file or it that files excluded are shown in Pathintellisense?

Hi Christian, I meant it doesn't autocomplete.

Unfortunately, I also couldn't make this Path Intellisense extension autocomplete paths to images in an HTML relative to the mapped "base" directory. The mapping and everything else was configured according to the documentation. So, it might have been not an issue specifically with .gitignore, but a broader one.

I switched to the alternative Path Autocomplete extension and the autocomplete in HTML started working.
I can't think of something specific that can be off or wrong.

I know all of this is community and Open Source, so I can't be mad, but while I'm not technically inclined to investigate the issue on my own, I'll be happy to test things on my setup if you would need it.

Thanks,
Pavlo.
