Responses to assignments disappear from the site (though they’re kept in the database).
Private responses to “paragraph field” are replaced by <username> on <assignmentname> (appearing both in the response page and in the gradebook as private feedback) and `Your quiz results: /1 as public feedback in the gradebook and in the activity stream.
