The automaton tests are currently all defined in a single test file. The file should be split into separate files that follow the file structure, as defined in our style guide.

The tests are currently not very thorough, it would be nice if they could be expanded a bit. With that said, conformance testing of the project structures is something that should be written outside of the GUI, to ensure that all project parsers support the same spec. So it is okay if our internal testing is not completely exhaustive.
