What makes this a good location a EuBIC-MS Developers Meeting?

Krusenberg Herrgård is a cosy manor by Lake Mälaren, some 35 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda airport. The venue consists of two main buildings, the 17th century manor house with a restaurant, lounges and meeting rooms, and a modern hotel building with additional lecture and meeting rooms.

The venue has:

• 59 bedrooms, including 12 with two beds
• 1 large seminar room for 90 people
• 2 meeting rooms for 22-50 people
• 2 meeting rooms for 10-20 people
• 5 meeting rooms for 4-12 people
• WiFi throughout the venue
• Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in the manor house

In addition, there is a wood-fired sauna by the lake, a bar, and pool table in the manor house. This part of lake Mälaren is often sufficiently frozen in January-February to allow ice skating, while not being too cold to enjoy it (average temperature in February is -3°C).

Connectivity

The venue is 35 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda airport, 20 minutes from Uppsala or 1 h from Stockholm, in a rural location by lake Mälaren. There are daily direct flights to Stockholm from most major European cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Krakow, London, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Warzaw and Zurich. Furthermore, Stockholm can be easliy reached by train from Olso and Copenhagen, night train from Berlin via Hamburg, and ferries from Turku, Helsinki or Tallinn.

Local buses from Uppsala and Knivsta call at Krusenberg, a short walk from the manor.

As an indication, the quote we had for the above arrangements (4 nights, 60 people, all meals, 2 larger and 4 smaller breakout rooms, main lecture hall) for 2025 was 977 EUR p.p. with the current SEK-EUR exchange rate.
