Please check for duplicates or similar issues, as well performing simple troubleshooting steps (such as clearing cookies, clearing AppData, trying another browser) before submitting an issue.

If you are playing the game in a browser, what site are you playing it from?

If you are playing the game in a browser, what browser are you using?

  • Google Chrome (or chomium based like Brave, vivaldi, MS Edge)
  • Firefox
  • Safari

What version of the game are you using? Look in the bottom left corner of the main menu. (ex: 0.2.7, 0.2.1, shit like that)

0.3.2

Have you identified any steps to reproduce the bug? If so, please describe them below in as much detail as possible. Use images if possible.

  1. Open chart editor
  2. Create new song
  3. Send .ogg song for instrumental
  4. Get "Could not interpret waveform data" dialog box
  5. Game crashes

Please describe your issue. Provide extensive detail and images if possible.

To be honest, i don't really know what is happening here, must be some issue with the actual file, since it's just an .mp3 that i changed the file extension to .ogg

I checked and yes, if i explicitly convert it to .ogg instead of changing file extension it will work as intended, i think there should be some kind of dialog that explains to you that the file is not properly an ogg file and NOT crash

If you're game is FROZEN and you're playing a web version, press F12 to open up browser dev window, and go to console, and copy-paste whatever red error you're getting

You can fix it by making your Inst file into a "TRUE" .ogg, pass it through audacity and export it as .ogg
