Enhancement: Psychic (from the mind games mod) as an opponent? (alternatively, a simple reference) #4071
Comments
I don't think the devs are considering adding characters originating from mods! |
|
Isn't that just saying there won't be any support for implementing old mod stuff into the new funkin engine? |
Modding will be supported, but content that comes from mods will not. |
Or more specifically, you can't be asking for help for anything related to mods or (mod) engines? |
Bugs that occur in modified builds or other engines shouldn't be reported in this repository. Asking for help regarding modding goes well in Discussions, and we have plenty of people answering questions there! |
Definitely something worthy of adding to the list of rejected features methinks |
Yep, edited to mention it! |
Surprised this hasn't been closed yet. |
Going to reject this because of the linked comment above. |
Aw, well I can't say that I didn't try. |
Issue Checklist
What is your suggestion, and why should it be implemented?
Have you considered making Psychic (from the mind games mod) an opponent? In my opinion, he fits in way too well with the rest of the characters and has some interesting song events too. He's just too cool to simply remain a mod character, though if not, then adding a reference to either him and/or the engine itself would be funkin cool too.
For those that don't know of or much about the guy:
Wiki page on the mod: https://fridaynightfunking.fandom.com/wiki/Friday_Night_Funkin%27:_Mind_Games
The official mod page: https://gamebanana.com/mods/301107
I also have an updated version of the mod that you can find here: https://github.com/Lasercar/NewVeryCoolPsychic/releases/tag/1.02
(I will get around to updating it to the latest psych engine version at some point)
