IFC base quantities

Hi there,

I am looking for a solution in order to get the external dimensions of walls stored in the IFC base quantities.

Indeed, the IFC base quantities are based on the wall center to center dimensionsbut I know that there is a solution
in Revit and I am now looking for if there is also one in ArchiCAD, Vectorworks and allplan

Does someone has an idea how to deal with it ?

You can use one of the IFC tools available. If you are a .NET developer I'd recommend to have a look at xBIM Toolkit which is open-source and can handle both IFC2x3 as well as IFC4. This example shows how to get to the IFC quantities as well as properties using xBIM.

I'm one of the core xBIM developers so it is not an unbiased recommendation.
