Currently to use Numba-dpex with dtype specifier one needs to explicitly import these types from Numba:
import numba_dpex as ndpx import numba
@ndpx.kernel def kernel_impl(a) b = ndpx.local.array(10, dtype = numba.float32) # Must get float32 from Numba
Instead, as a convenience feature, create aliases for these Numba types inside Numba-Dpex
