I think "how to use super basic git" Stumbled on the git docs on drupal.org; it's a really good summary of using 'git' in basic development without subjecting you to a man page (no shade, man pages are great)

https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/git-instructions

Along with a "They do patches; we do pull requests, so our workflow is the same until you have committed a change that you would like to contribute. (... ) To issue a pull request, (...)"

This is the kind of thing I think our docs need more of, but would like your feedback. Would this style of answer your questions about how Islandora works? What questions (or kinds of questions) (or vague uncertainties) do you have, that you think need to be addressed, either in documentation or through discussion?

OK that's kind of a big question but we can discuss more at the User call... anyway just opening this issue as a reminder.
