Out of a Islandora Tech call:

Context has issues after updating to the latest. Context doesn't work correctly. We've worked around this by having composer lock context to a specific commit hash.

"drupal/context": "4.x-dev#14c362a5c57457692cdb1335c24619e6ae76af94",
...

Link to another issue possibly related to context issues that we apply to our code that might help.

was this in the context of a drupal 8 site?
also i'm not sure if this has been fixed upstream in the context module due to latest release? - context 4.1 is out (https://www.drupal.org/project/context/releases/8.x-4.1) - does updating to 4.1 fix it?
the issue you liked from context (https://www.drupal.org/project/context/issues/3111414) was closed because they couldn't replicate it.

I'm not sure what you mean by context of a Drupal site?

like were you running d8 or d9 when you needed to lock the version of context module?
