We need to audit much like we do in 7.x before release. This means checking for the existence and accuracy of LICENSE, README, and CONTRIBUTING.md files. Also, we need to make sure we've got PR templates and protected 8.x-1.x branches. This will affect all repos in https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW and https://github.com/Islandora-Devops.

I tagged this as documentation - I wonder if we could incorporate this information into a "how to release" type document.
