Not seeing replies to some Mastodon posts in Kaiteki #486

If you are on a Misskey instance, it's an already known issue that Kaiteki does not fetch the thread properly. Kaiteki also doesn't update everything in the UI if you interact (such as making a new post, and it not being in the timeline, until you refresh). |

Most likely a bug in where Kaiteki tries to fetch the thread for the wrong post (the repeat/boost) |

I would refrain from doing so, until I fixed the issue with fetching the correct thread. If even after this fix, the issue still exists, then you could do so. |

It looks like I have an issue with the replies on some Mastodon posts in Kaiteki: there are posts that have replies, I can see the reply count near the "reply" button, but when I click on the post, no reply is displayed. And if I open the post in my browser via "..." -> "Open in browser", the replies are displayed, so that's not a problem with the counter.
I tried to find a way to reproduce the issue, but I couldn't find anything: sometimes, replies are displayed, sometimes they're not, and I can't see a pattern. If I end up finding one, I'll turn this into a bug report.
Has anyone else noticed the same behavior?
