Allow filtering options in drop down menus

Please describe the feature that you want to propose

It would useful enhancement to allow user filtering all the options by typing into the "select the option" field.

i.e. typing "json" would only display json related options from the drop down menu.

1. When expanding the dropdown the focus should go to the text field
2. Replace the placeholder to "Type or select the option"
