Apparently from what I read, this worked in some older 2600 cores and it stopped working when official core moved to 7800 core. Would be nice to have SNAC paddles support in this core.

I can confirm that. Paddles through SNAC work partially: the button works, but the ADC doesn't. The same setup, with a SNAC-enabled version of the old 2600 core, works just fine.
