Feature Description
A note that explains what the "Other" category is on the course grade description.
Proposed Solution
Figure out where those numbers come from (are they just Q-drops or something else?) and just have a small note under the grade distribution chart to let the students know what that number is (especially if the "Other" category has high numbers).
UI/UX Considerations
I think it would make sense for the note to be right below the "Instructor-specific data is not available for this course, showing course-wide data instead" note in gray.

I agree that we need a note explaining what "Other" is. We should make the "Other" chart label into a link similar to the "About the Data" link. When the user hovers over the label, it would open up a large tooltip with the following content: "The 'Other' grade category includes all non-standard letter grades, including: In Progress, Incomplete, Permanent Incomplete, Oblit, Q-Drop, Withdrawn, Credit, No Credit, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory, and Registered on CR/F or CR/NC basis." In that case, we can change the "About the Data" text to "Data Source".
