Situation: I am trying to login to a new service

Answer: You can select any profiles you have stored in your persona, if the fields are incompatible then the profile will be greyed out. If none of the ones you want to use are compatible you will need to fill out the relevant fields. These fields can either augment an existing profile or you can create a new one.
