during the creation of the pre-ms model, during the first call to mlt:

in

subroutine do1_mlt_eval( &

one finds that s% q(k) is not defined, and will result in a backtrace. Adding a write statement into subroutine do1_mlt_eval that prints s% q(k) will result in a backtrace when running the $MESA_DIR/star/Work directory. Star pointer variables should be set when entering mlt, so this could become an issue, especially for implementing mass based control into mlt.
