Is this the same as the feature as is controlled the WEBSITE_DYNAMIC_CACHE application setting?

I cannot find any documentation regarding the option WEBSITE_DYNAMIC_CACHE.

I also wanted to know if WEBSITE_DYNAMIC_CACHE is supported on Linux App Services?

Thanks
Sam

Hi @mtwelve, this document references local cache which can be set by you, the customer. Dynamic cache is a platform enhancement implemented on the infrastructure side to improve App Service performance as mentioned here.

On Linux app service side of things, local cache is not supported as stated since the storage implementation is different. Your image (or container if using Web Apps for Containers) and all it's related files gets mounted so caching is less of a concern than on Windows.

Hope this helps.
