Conda creation fails on gxx_impl_linux-64 on OS X

Attempted to follow the instructions for local configuration and ran into trouble with gxx_impl_linux-64:

PackagesNotFoundError: The following packages are not available from current channels:

• gxx_impl_linux-64

Intel Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1.

The instructions have now been updated.
Installation of gxx_linux-64 is now only recommended for Linux users without C++ compiler installed on their system.
For Mac OS users, we now recommend using clangxx_osx-64 if they don't have a C++ compiler available.
