Macro check for [:digit:]x triggers on citations e.g., 2019xfd.

ERROR    (Misc)  Forbidden pattern: '\d\s*(x|X)'.  Use '\x{}'
        intro.tex:10: programming effort and results in buggy program~\cite{liu2021pmfuz, liu2019xfd}.
