similar to EC2, GCE also supports instance metadata, which can be used to populate data for A and CNAME records

Is this feature exist on the current codebase for GCE?. I didn't see any information about adding CNAME or A name RECORD in instance metadata on google document or denominator document. I want to have a way to add CNAME for internal/external IP address.

Not yet. This was just a place to track interest.
