"Load settings" does nothing

When I click on "Configure stream" I can set the player settings and save them in local storage, but clicking on "Load settings" does nothing. When I click on the links of the players, the settings also don't get applied.
Any idea where to look for the issue?

Edit: "Load settings" sometimes does work, after switching back and forth between the player options. But when I save the "Fit" option on all of them, still none of the four links honor the stored settings when I click on them.
