OpenVPN Connect v3 is not working with socks5/http proxy via udp #343

I would like to inform you that OpenVPN Connect is not working with socks5 proxy xray-core, sing-box, etc via udp proto
OS: Windows 10/11
Android: 12/13/14

OpenVPN 2.4./2.5./2.6.* are working via socks proxy via udp okay

OpenVPN 3 Core library, which is used by OpenVPN Connect does only support HTTP proxies, not SOCKS5. AFAIK, HTTP proxies also only support TCP.

Please file a feature request with https://support.openvpn.com/ so we can get enough requests for SOCKS5 support. That's the main way to get new features prioritised.

I will create request to support socks5 and work with udp via proxy
