Description:

I would like to request the creation of a winget repository for the desktop application Neptune By Programming Hero. As Windows operating systems come with the winget package manager installed by default, having a dedicated winget repository for Neptune By Programming Hero would greatly benefit users in terms of ease of installation and updates.

Project Details:

  • Project Name: Neptune By Programming Hero
  • Platform: Windows desktop application

Benefits of a winget Repository:

  1. Discoverability: Having a winget repository will make it easier for users to discover and install Neptune By Programming Hero through the standard Windows package manager.
  2. Seamless Installation: Users can quickly install the application with a simple command, eliminating the need for manual downloads and installations.
  3. Easy Updates: With a dedicated winget repository, users can effortlessly update Neptune By Programming Hero to the latest version using the winget package manager, ensuring they have access to the most recent features and bug fixes.
  4. Standardization: By leveraging the existing winget ecosystem, Neptune By Programming Hero can align with other popular applications, making it familiar and consistent for Windows users.

I kindly request the repository maintainers to consider creating a dedicated winget repository for Neptune By Programming Hero. This would significantly enhance the user experience and ensure that Windows users can easily install and update the application using the built-in winget package manager.

Sincerely,

Thank you @devbytemehedi
Right now we are working on a seamless integration with Microsoft store. Afterwards we'll definitely think about providing winget as an alternative to both microsoft store and our current github release approach. But it may take some time 😶
