sap.ui.unified.Calendar - ui issue when selecting date from next month, old date remains outlined

OpenUI5 version: 1.108 onwards (issue does not exist in 1.96)

Browser/version (+device/version): Mac/Chrome 119.0.6045.123

Any other tested browsers/devices(OK/FAIL): Safari FAIL

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Select a date from the current month - date gets 2 outlines. inner bold with square corners, outer thin with rounded corners
2. Select a date from the next month without using the month selector are the top - i.e in April 2024, you can see Wed 1 May, Thu 2nd May etc

What is the expected result? Previously selected current month date should loose it's outlines

What happens instead? Date in next month gets outer outline, old date keeps inner outline
