TaxonFilter in EventController Index is always send as null to CreateListViewModel

Is there a concrete reason for not including TaxonUrlEvaluator.GetTaxonFromQuery() in the Index Action of Events and always sending the taxonFilter property as null to the CreateListViewModel()?

It looks like all of the other similar widgets have it added except the Events?

This can be resolved by overriding CreateListViewModel() of EventModel, but it will be better to have it implemented by default.
