Issue Description

As a user of Sanity.io, I believe that the addition of a live preview feature would significantly enhance the user experience and streamline content creation and editing workflows.

Proposed Feature

  • Introduce a live preview functionality that allows users to see real-time changes to their content as they edit it within the Sanity.io Studio interface.
  • The live preview should be closely integrated with the content schema, so users can visualize how their changes will look on the actual website or application.
  • Provide customization options to configure how the live preview is displayed, such as device previews (desktop, tablet, mobile), responsive previews, and more.
  • Consider supporting dynamic data fetching, allowing users to see how their content interacts with external APIs or data sources in real time.

Benefits

  • Improved content editing experience with real-time feedback.
  • Faster and more efficient content creation.
  • Reduced need for switching between the Studio and the website/application for previewing changes.
  • Enhanced visual and interactive content editing.

Let's discuss and plan the implementation of this valuable feature for Sanity.io.
