Issue Description

As a user of Sanity.io for managing blog content, I believe that adding table support to the Sanity.io dashboard would greatly enhance our ability to create structured and organized blog posts. Tables are an essential tool for presenting data and information in a clear and concise manner.

Proposed Feature

  • Introduce a table editor or plugin within the Sanity.io dashboard that allows users to create and manage tables directly within the content editor.
  • Ensure the table editor is user-friendly, providing options for adding rows and columns, adjusting cell content, and styling tables.
  • Enable responsive design for tables to ensure they display correctly on various devices.
  • Ensure that table data is stored efficiently within the Sanity content schema.
  • Consider providing customization options for table styling to match the blog's design.

Benefits

  • Improved content creation and management for blog posts.
  • Enhanced support for presenting data, statistics, and comparisons.
  • Streamlined workflow for authors and editors.
  • Better organization and presentation of information within blog articles.

Let's discuss and plan the implementation of this valuable feature for the Sanity.io dashboard.
