When TypeDoc is given invalid CLI args, it will fail to report that those arguments are discarded. If set via typedoc.json or tsconfig.json, invalid options are reported.

Steps to reproduce the bug

yarn add [email protected]
yarn typedoc --mode this_does_not_exist

Environment

  • Typedoc version: 0.17.0
  • Node.js version: any
  • OS: any
