Since first setup creates a new user, the choice of light or dark theme only gets applied to the vanilla user, not the created one.

After reboot, the default light theme is enabled again.

This should not be the case according to this:

first-setup/vanilla_first_setup/defaults/theme.py

Line 69 in 004e031

gs_cmd = "!nextBoot !noRoot gsettings set %s %s %s"

There should be a problem elsewhere
