[Type] Enhancement
A suggestion for improvement.
Today as we go into a document and add various blocks we can click the Block navigation to get an overview of the blocks used.
We can click the Navigation block and it jumps out of the Block navigation so we can see that we have selected the Navigation block in the layout.
We can click the Block navigation again and see the structure of the Navigation.
A thought. From inside the Block navigation. What if we could click into a block and then have focus move into the block information that is naturally to show there. For instance click into the Navigation block see the nav structure in the navigation block. Then navigate up one step and back to the general block layout structure.
Here is an example from viewing the nav structure inside the navigation block. I added a back up arrow to just give an idea that one can navigate up and back to the general block navigation drop down screen.
The Block navigation becomes a place to where one can get an overview of blocks used in the layout as well as individual areas within a block such as the Navigation block structure.
The navigation can be used similar to the tree like navigation we have in the footer.
This means we have in place already two navigational elements.
The Block navigation (drop down in the top bar) and the tree navigation (in the bottom "status" area).
These both can be extended for full site editing.
