The changes in #5 inject a snippet of JavaScript into the body of converted html:

<script type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script>document.querySelectorAll('style').forEach(style =>
    style.remove());</script>

This seems to interfere with the MathJax right-click menu when conversion to MathJax is chosen in the preferences.
