# May 2024 Dev Notes
* Early-game experience gathering still feels bad, requires use of the Potion of Ancient Knowledge to get anywhere.
* KoTA is too gated for it to be useful early, and vanilla xp gains without spinning up a mob farm are really low.
* Gem inventory management is a chore, and storing them at base is also a chore.
* Consider finally implementing the Gem Safe for at-base storage, and maybe make the vanilla Bundle available or create something similar for not-at-base storage.
* Up-cycling of rarity materials may be necessary.
* May not be useful after personal progression is implemented, since you won't receive low-level materials anymore.
* Incremental progression of individual items feels clunky
* Reforging has the same pitfalls as Vanilla Enchanting, i.e. total randomness
* Need a way to upgrade individual affixes, as well as reforge to a higher level without losing existing affixes.
* Add the Augmentation Table, allowing for upgrading/rerolling of individual affixes, as well as locking them (from reforging).

## Mob Augmentations
Rename Minibosses to Mob Augmentations. Keep most current functionality, but also enable multiple augmentation files to apply at once.
Gem Dust as a catalyst in brewing, increasing potion levels by +1 above normal.
Review anvil level math at higher levels, as well as repair costs.
Add additional tomes to account for new enchantment types, and clarify usage in tooltips.

Some sort of item to directly upgrade 1 enchantment by 1 level.
Maybe a sort of legendary tome that can be enchanted or combined with
books in order to make a sort of "tier up" for a certain enchant.
Would be nice for maxing out items via slow and steady progress rather than chance.
a "payload" enchantment for crossbows that increases the damage of firework rockets?
some changes to lapis, because it piles up really fast and you never
actually have to worry about running out of it (configurable "fuel"
for ench table or something else optional to make the ench process in general more end-gamish)
