One of my hopes for the "See also" and "Variant" fields is that when users are seeing an entry page, they can click on any of the names listed under "Variant" and "See also" to take them directly to those entries.
For instance, a name like Bétikú lists under "See also" another name like Bíòbákú, which means the same thing, but is usually given in a different part of Yorubaland. Instead of having to type in "Bíòbákú" again to get to it, they should be able to click on it right on the page and have them taken there.
Same with the "Variant" field.
I think it will keep users on the dictionary for longer and encourage in-depth research.
Is it doable?
