Can't install #2
Comments
Hi team! I wanted to say the same ... It is really great script but I can not install ... It is asking "You must enter an admin password. " I did everything like it was said to install ... But I keep getting the same problem ... You should help me ... Plz respond! |
Hm, weird, the last time I set this up, I didn't get this error. Are you by any chance using Windows? |
Nope, I did it on ubuntu-server 13.10, running Apache 2.4.6; Also tried under nginx, same thing. |
Okay, 939b954 should fix the issue. Sorry for not looking at this for so long! I've been pretty busy lately. :( |
But me I tried it in Windows ... and Linux too both gave different problem... In Windows it said "You must enter an admin password. " but in Linux it accepted and got me inside but it didnt open the directory telling me that i have no right to see it ... whereas i was admin :) |
hmm... @Znuff, does it work for you? |
Same issue. Can't get past FTP login to install. CentOS 6.4, |
Are you sure you've set up FTP? Filecharger is currently incompatible with SFTP or FTPS. |
Sorry to reply so late. Nope, this still ain't working. I tried manual install, I tried automatic install. Damn thing still asks for admin password. Just set up a clean virtual machine and try installing it - it will fail. |
same here |
Hello,
As lovely as this package seems to be, I can't figure a way to install it properly.
If using the /install.php file, I get an error as soon as I enter my FTP credential: You must enter an admin password.
But there is absolutely no admin password request. I even tried sending "adpass" by modifying the POST request.
I tried doing a manual install, but every time I try that using "direct" write mode, I get all sort of weirdnesses, like not having permissions (I do have server permissions for those directories), or showing me that the user is disabled.
How to actually install this?!
