After doing some on device testing, I'd suggest we make the following improvements:

Make the TextField slightly larger... I felt I had to be too precise to tap it.
Very occasionally the UI hangs when trying to type... I'd recommend doing a sanity check that we're doing particular tasks on the correct threads
