I've cloned the repo, followed the instructions and run it and I'm being asked to input "Phone name shown in myGov" and "Phone type shown in myGov". Where are these things shown? On the my.gov.au website (where exactly?) or in the myGov Code Generator app? If the latter, is it pre- or post-login? If it's post-, I can't see it because the whole reason I'm attempting to use this repo is because the godawful signin form is busted in iOS 17's webview and once you tap in the password field it has a spasm and the cursor appears floating in the middle of nowhere and it's impossible to actually enter a password.

Edit: Through some combination of typing a character in the password box first, then going back to the login field and typing something there, then going back and pasting my password, I've managed to log in to the myGov Code Generator app and link my account, but I still can't see my "Phone name" or "Phone type" anywhere.

I don't think it's too fussed, to be honest, I'm not sure why they collect that info. You can just use the default values which will show up as an older Samsung phone.

Seems you can put in what ever you want and its just used for your own sake to identity your devices on your settings page when you login in.

Due to some issues I had the final working device on my account has a pretty crude and rude name
