Switch Info

Property Description
Type keylock switch
Circuit SPST
Function Off-On
Model info/markings CHZJCZ (on key) universal solder #26467
Voltage & Current rating 250 VAC, 1 A

Product URL: https://universal-solder.ca/product/key-switch-with-2-keys-1a-max-250vac/

How new is the switch? Brand new. Just received.

How do you like the switch? It's pretty nice, although very small. The plastic around the keys have sharp edges. Would be nicer if they were chamfered.

Anything else noteworthy? One side of key says "CHZJCZ", other side says "DZS".

The switch is ON when the key is aligned with the green dot.

Test Session 1

Setup

Property Description
Arduino model Uno (old DIP model)
Pull-up resistor Arduino internal (measured 35.7k ohm)
Switch wires connection aligator clips.
Measure switch's ON resistance ~ 0.3 ohms
Anything else connected? Nope.

Test Setup Photos:
Please upload picture(s) of your test setup showing how the switch is connected to your Arduino. Please be wary of insecure wires/connections as they can cause many signal glitches.

The switch was zipped tied down tightly. This prevented the alligator clips from moving.

🕵️ Your Observations (optional)

Releases (turn key from green to red dot) are a lot more bouncy!

Wiggling the key about when the switch was on or off didn't trigger any glitches.
