Starting in Firefox 32, a new Message Manager API was introduced in anticipation of changing over to a multi-process architecture (the Electrolysis project, a.k.a. e10s), where the JavaScript code for the browser chrome and web page content will run in separate processes. This is supposedly going to happen in a future Firefox release.

This will require refactoring of code that retrieves the web page title and any selected content text to populate the Post to Delicious dialog.
