Copy paste the syntax highlighted text from editor to outside editor container

Need to copy the syntax highlighted (colored) text and paste it outside editor container.
Any possible ways to do this?

I thought of copying the html elements from the editor and paste it outside editor element. So, what would be the best way to programmatically scroll through the editor to get its html elements (div.ace_line_group)?
