Feature request: backgroud RSS updation

Hi,

First of all: Newsbeuter is abandoned, but I maintain a fork called Newsboat.

As for your request: updating doesn't block UI for me. Perhaps I misunderstand what you mean by "block"? I just checked, and after I press R to reload all thread, I can still jump between feeds with n, open them with Enter and even read articles. Does your Newsbeuter behave differently?

If you can reproduce the problem with Newsboat, please open an issue there, and let's figure out what's going on.

Ah, sorry, you probably meant updating a single feed (r by default). This indeed blocks the UI. Just saw this while testing something else. I've opened a Newsboat issue for that; thanks for reporting!
