It seems that someone has taken the time to port this to Java: http://github.com/fikr4n/itl-java

In the project README, maybe we should include a list of official and unofficial bindings or ports of this project?

How about a section for apps/devices that use ITL also?

That could be nice. Both of my apps, Guidance Mac and Guidance iOS use ITL through the BAPrayerTimes interface.

My PrayerApp Java application makes use of the Java port of this library.

@ameiralzoubi and @haqman Perhaps you should open a new issue/pull request that adds the appropriate section to the README?

@tgharib Are you aware of any major differences between the Java port and this library?

It had been 2 years, and I've just read this "open" issue. As I recall, part of the Java port was copied from someone else's incomplete work. Now I am rewriting the Java to fully copy and adapt the core C library, and create a layer above it for user (of the library) so that any change in the C would be easier to be applied to the Java port, inshaallah. May Allah allow me to finish this soon so I can push it to github.

As I am writing this, there is no release yet of this ITL, I think it's a good idea to make a release and give it a version name so that other ports can follow the version numbering. I've created a release of the Java version weeks ago, when I planned to rewrite it, the version number follows the version of the debian package.

I've pushed the rewritten library at rewrite branch.

Update: it has been merged to master

Thank you for your efforts.

I published a new release at: https://github.com/arabeyes-org/ITL/releases/tag/v0.8.0
