The New Change

Yes. I’m planning on changing this particular option soon because I’ve only made this option to fix the LowContrastMode tweak and restore YouTube’s old interface for some of y’all. But there are unfortunate reasons for the changes of this option soon.

1. It’ll stop working with v16.42.3

The code I added that spoofs the YouTube Version to v16.42.3 is not permanent. In the future whenever Google kills the older versions of the YouTube App for v16.xx.x then the Spoofing to v16.42.3 will not work anymore, it won’t load videos on the tabs anymore aswell. I can confirm since I tried spoofing v15 of the youtube app. Once v16.42.3 stops working YTNoModernUI will update to v17.11.2 instead.

2. New LowContrastMode update

Although every other LCM update does barely anything due to YouTube’s New UI Changes, it makes things extremely harder to make it work but I’ve made something that could possibly change them with this code I made.

This change to YTNoModernUI happened months ago, I’m satisfied with how it is now and how customizable it is 😅
