Roasting Profile on Hottop not working or "talking" to Artisan #1779

What do you exactly mean by "turn on" here and by "roasting profile doesn't kick in"? I assume that once you press ON you see the temperature readings in the LCDs on the right. You have SUPER ON. There should be a CONTROL button in the top row. Once you click that one you should be able to control heater and fan using the Artisan slider for preheating. Then you should START the recording. After a few seconds of recording you can charge the beans into the machine and Artisan should recognize the CHARGE event (somewhat in retrospect). Your alarm rules should modulate the heater as planned once the corresponding temperatures are reached. What exactly is not working as expected? |

I'm on Artisan 3.10 (latest) Windows 11 and have a Hottop 2k+.
I used to use this software on a Mac and the steps to get the software to use the roasting profile I created took a series of steps with the legacy Artisan software. Now I think the steps are different on a PC and I can't figure it out. I can get the Artisan to turn on the roaster, but the roasting profile doesn't kick in. I made sure the roasting profile is loaded, SUPER On is engaged.
Any help would be great, I've not been roasting for well over 6 months now cause I've been putting this off.
